Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi has been figured on the cover page
of the forthcoming issue of Time magazine, which praises the BJP leader
for the developmental works done in the state during his regime.
The cover page of the Magazine features Modi for its March 26 edition with a caption: "Modi means business but can he lead India".
The US magazine in an article titled "Boy from the backyard" describes Modi as a controversial, ambitious and shrewd politician. It also highlights Modi's series of Sadbhavana fasts to establish peace and stability in the state.
The article describes that the Sadbhavana fast was his act of self-purification and he wanted to build a bridge between Hindu and Muslims in the state, which has not yet recovered of the communal riots that had occurred a decade ago.
The Magazine in its article also describes Modi as a firm, no-nonsense leader, who can lead India out of corruption and inefficiency.
